Grupo Elektra, S.A.B. de C.V. reported earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended September 30, 2022. For the third quarter, the company reported net interest income was MXN 16,846 million compared to MXN 14,353 million a year ago. Net loss was MXN 2,384 million compared to net income of MXN 999 million a year ago. Basic loss per share was MXN 10.55 compared to basic earnings per share of MXN 4.4 a year ago.
For the nine months, net interest income was MXN 49,620 million compared to MXN 41,892 million a year ago. Net loss was MXN 8,764 million compared to net income of MXN 10,996 million a year ago. Basic loss per share was MXN 38.8 compared to basic earnings per share of MXN 48.4 a year ago.
