FCC Construccion has won, in the Education category, a Merit Award in the prestigious ENR Global Best Projects, with the Grangegorman University project.

FCC Construccion executed the design and construction of two buildings located on the Grangegorman campus of the Dublin University of Technology, a contract that was awarded in 2018 for 220 million euros together with Macquarie Capital and the local company John Sisk&Son.

FCC Construccion has carried out these works to provide university services to 10,000 students and university staff.

The Central building has a constructed area of 35,552 square meters and academic activities will be developed there and it has facilities required for a total of ten schools of the Faculty of Health Sciences, Faculty of Engineering and Environment, and Faculty of Arts. and Tourism. For its part, the East building has an area of 16,940 square meters and houses most of the academic activities and facilities necessary for the Faculty of Arts and Tourism.
