Mexico City- Grupo Hotelero Santa Fe, S.A.B. de C.V. (BMV: HOTEL) ('HOTEL' or 'the Company'), one of the leading companies of the hotel industry in Mexico, announces that it its Board of Directors has approved to authorize that its shareholder JORGE M. PEREZ (directly and/or though vehicles controlled directly or indirectly by him) increase his participation up to a maximum of 24.00% of the outstanding shares of the company.
It is informed that currrenty the participation of this shareholder in the outstanding shares of the company is 19.98% as was previously authorized by the Board of Directors of HOTEL.
It is alaso informed that it is the intention of the group made up by JORGE M PEREZ 2018 FAMILY TRUST, JMP ENTERPRISE HOLDINGS LLLP, and JORGE M. PEREZ to acquire a significative incluence in the company, understandio as control and vote of 20% of the outstanding shares of the Company.
