Grupo Kuo, S.A.B. de C.V. reported unaudited consolidated earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended September 30, 2017. For the quarter, the company reported revenue of MXN 5,836 million against MXN 5,606 million for the same period a year ago. Operating profit was MXN 1,061 million against MXN 795 million for the same period a year ago. Profit from continuing operations was MXN 243 million against MXN 198 million for the same period a year ago. Consolidated - net profit attributable to controlling interests was MXN 238 million against MXN 238 million for the same period a year ago. Profit before income taxes and discontinued operations was MXN 491 million against MXN 332 million for the same period a year ago.
For the quarter, on Pro forma basis, EBITDA was MXN 1,435.2 million against MXN 1,162.0 million for the same period a year ago. Revenue was MXN 9,344.3 million against MXN 8,706.5 million for the same period a year ago. Operating profit was MXN 1,109.5 million against MXN 901.1 million for the same period a year ago. Profit before income taxes and discontinued operations was MXN 545 million against MXN 462 million for the same period a year ago. Consolidated - net profit attributable to controlling interests was MXN 238 million against MXN 238 million for the same period a year ago.
For the nine months, the company reported revenue of MXN 18,293 million against MXN 15,838 million for the same period a year ago. Operating profit was MXN 2,677 million against MXN 1,852 million for the same period a year ago. Profit from continuing operations was MXN 1,859 million against MXN 1,064 million for the same period a year ago. Consolidated - net profit attributable to controlling interests was MXN 1,794 million against MXN 1,166 million for the same period a year ago. Profit before income taxes and discontinued operations was MXN 2,391 million against MXN 681 million for the same period a year ago.
For the nine months, on Pro forma basis, EBITDA was MXN 4,011 million against MXN 3,051 million for the same period a year ago. Revenue was MXN 29,523 million against MXN 24,662 million for the same period a year ago. Operating profit was MXN 3,090 million against MXN 2,210 million for the same period a year ago. Profit before income taxes and discontinued operations was MXN 2,693 million against MXN 978 million for the same period a year ago. Consolidated - net profit attributable to controlling interests was MXN 1,794 million against MXN 1,166 million for the same period a year ago.
