Grupo Nutresa S. A. reported unaudited consolidated earnings results for the second quarter and six months ended June 30, 2020. For the six months, the company reported Operating income from contracts with clients was COP 5,324,782 Million compared to COP 4,646,417 Million a year ago. Operating income was COP 536,844 Million compared to COP 465,324 Million a year ago. Net income for the period was COP 331,293 Million compared to COP 283,455 Million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was COP 714.53 compared to COP 610.53 a year ago.
For the quarter, the company reported Operating income from contracts with clients was COP 2,665,449 Million compared to COP 2,400,675 Million a year ago. Operating income was COP 280,203 Million compared to COP 235,161 Million a year ago. Net income for the period was COP 139,901 Million compared to COP 108,026 Million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was COP 300.96 compared to COP 231.42 a year ago.
