Grupo Rotoplas S.A.B. De C.V. Announced earnings results for the fourth quarter ended December 31, 2020. For the fourth quarter, the company announced sales was MXN 2,450.425 million compared to MXN 2,036.229 million a year ago. Operating income was MXN 314.865 million compared to MXN 316.653 million a year ago. Net income was MXN 87.707 million compared to net loss of MXN 27.259 million a year ago. For the full year, sales was MXN 8,644.303 million compared to MXN 7,790.368 million a year ago. Operating income was MXN 1,047.120 million compared to MXN 1,174.946 million a year ago. Net income was MXN 430.822 million compared to MXN 54.268 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was MXN 0.96 compared to MXN 0.11 a year ago.
Grupo Rotoplas SAB de CV is a Mexico-based company, which develops and provides water-related solutions. The Company products portfolio is divided into four categories: Storage, Piping and Pressurization, Improvement and Auto-Sustainable. Storage provides water tanks, water wagons, as well as products for industrial and agricultural purposes. Piping and Pressurization offers piping, valves and related accessories, as well as different kind of pumps, among others. Improvement includes a variety of water heaters, purificators and filters, among others. Auto-Sustainable offers, among others, rainwater collection systems. The Companyâs service offering includes installation and maintenance of all its products, purification services for drinkable water, and the design, construction, management and maintenance of water treatment plants for industrial customers. The Company is directly and indirectly active in the Americas through a distribution network and an ecommerce platform.
