VOLUNTARY ANNOUNCEMENT

CONVENING OF THE 2020 ANNUAL RESULTS PRESENTATION

Guangshen Railway Company Limited (the "Company") proposes to publish its results for the financial year ended December 31, 2020 (the "2020 Annual Results") on the website of the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited (www.hkexnews.hk) on March 29, 2021. In order to enable the investors to have a more comprehensive and in-depth understanding of the 2020 Annual Results and the business operations of the Company, the Company proposes to convene the 2020 Annual Results presentation (the "Annual Results Presentation") via webcast from 4:15 p.m. to 5:15 p.m. on April 1, 2021, at which the Company will communicate with investors on questions of common concern. Mr. Wu Yong, the chairman of the Company, Mr. Hu Lingling, the director and general manager of the Company, Mr. Lin Wensheng, the supervisor of the Company, Mr. Luo Jiancheng, the deputy general manager of the Company, Mr. Luo Xinpeng, the chief accountant of the Company, and Mr. Tang Xiangdong, the secretary of the board of directors of the Company, will attend the Annual Results Presentation.

Investors may submit relevant questions by email to the Company's investor relations email address ([e-mail])by 5:00 p.m. on March 30, 2021. The Company will address questions of common concern raised by investors at the Annual Results Presentation.

Investors may visit the SSE Roadshow website (roadshow.sseinfo.com)to attend the Annual Results Presentation from 4:15 p.m. to 5:15 p.m. on April 1, 2021. After the Annual Results Presentation, investors may visit the aforesaid website to review the records of the Annual Results Presentation.
