Guizhou RedStar Developing Co.,Ltd. announced earnings results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2021. For the first quarter, the company announced sales was CNY 381.048 million compared to CNY 249.316 million a year ago. Operating income was CNY 18.445 million compared to operating loss of CNY 12.692 million a year ago. Net income was CNY 12.774 million compared to net loss of CNY 10.618 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was CNY 0.044 compared to basic loss per share from continuing operations of CNY 0.036 a year ago.
Guizhou Redstar Developing Co Ltd is a China-based company principally engaged in the research and development, production and sales of barium salts, strontium salts and manganese series products. Barium salt products mainly include multi-specification special barium carbonate, various types of barium sulfate, high-purity barium carbonate, high-purity barium chloride, and high-purity barium nitrate. Strontium salt products mainly include strontium carbonate, strontium nitrate, strontium chloride, and hydroxide. Strontium, high-purity strontium carbonate, and manganese products mainly include EMD, high-purity manganese sulfate and other products for primary batteries and lithium batteries. The Company is also engaged in the production and sales of battery-grade lithium carbonate and by-products sulfur, thiourea and sodium sulfide, as well as the natural pigment industry.
