Guizhou RedStar Developing Co.,Ltd. announced earnings results for the half year ended June 30, 2020. For the half year, the company announced sales was CNY 568.923 million compared to CNY 755.280 million a year ago. Operating loss was CNY 6.158 million compared to operating Income of CNY 58.086 million a year ago. Net loss was CNY 6.570 million compared to net income of CNY 43.101 million a year ago. Basic loss per share from continuing operations was CNY 0.02 compared to basic earnings per share from continuing operations of CNY 0.15 a year ago.
Guizhou Redstar Developing Co Ltd is a China-based company principally engaged in the research and development, production and sales of barium salts, strontium salts and manganese series products. Barium salt products mainly include multi-specification special barium carbonate, various types of barium sulfate, high-purity barium carbonate, high-purity barium chloride, and high-purity barium nitrate. Strontium salt products mainly include strontium carbonate, strontium nitrate, strontium chloride, and hydroxide. Strontium, high-purity strontium carbonate, and manganese products mainly include EMD, high-purity manganese sulfate and other products for primary batteries and lithium batteries. The Company is also engaged in the production and sales of battery-grade lithium carbonate and by-products sulfur, thiourea and sodium sulfide, as well as the natural pigment industry.
