GWA Group Limited (GWA) announced Stephen Roche has accepted an invitation to join the Board of GWA as an Independent Non-Executive Director. Stephen's appointment as a director will be effective immediately after the
forthcoming Annual General Meeting to be held in Brisbane on 28 October. Stephen will stand for re-election at the 2023 Annual General Meeting. Stephen is an experienced director with ASX listed enterprises, family companies and not for profit organizations, and is currently a Non-Executive Director of Myer Family Investments Pty Ltd, Baby Bunting Ltd, Blackmores Ltd. and a Director of the Adelaide Football Club. Having commenced his career as a licensed plumber, Stephen has further direct and relevant experience in the Australian building products industry having spent over 10 years in a variety of management roles at CSR Limited. Stephen has extensive experience in strategy, business development and supply chains across industries including pharmacy, healthcare, retail and consumer markets. He was previously managing director of Bridgestone Australia & New Zealand and was managing director and CEO of Australian Pharmaceutical Industries Limited. He has also held senior executive roles at Mayne and Faulding across health and primary care services, distribution and business development. Stephen's appointment follows the previously announced Board renewal process undertaken with assistance of GWA's external adviser, Hattonneale.
