Hakudo Co., Ltd. agreed to acquire Takase Aluminum K.K. from the two directors.

Hakudo Co., Ltd. (TSE:7637) agreed to acquire Takase Aluminum K.K. from the two directors on December 12, 2018. As per the terms, Hakudo shall acquire 0.07 million shares of Takase Aluminum. For the year ended October 2018, Takase Aluminum reported net assets of ¥16 million, total assets of ¥707 million, sales of ¥1.69 billion, operating income of ¥6 million and net loss of ¥2 million. The transaction is expected to be completed on February 15, 2019.
Hakudo Co., Ltd. is a company mainly engaged in the processing and sale of metal and plastic products. The Company operates in two business segments. The Japan segment purchases various products from material manufacturers and others, cuts and processes the standard stock products, and delivers to customers in a short delivery time. The China segment purchases products from the Company and material manufacturers, stocks in factories in Shanghai, cuts, processes and delivers to customers in China in a short delivery time. In Thailand, the Company also sells products stocked in external warehouses in Bangkok to local companies.
