Oristar Corporation announced that it has entered into an agreement with new investor Hakudo Co., Ltd. (TSE:7637) for private placement of 1,333,334 common shares at a price of VND 32,268 for gross proceeds of VND 43,024,021,512 and 1,333,334 convertible preferred shares at a price of VND 32,268 for gross proceeds of VND 43,024,021,512, for aggregate gross proceeds of VND 86,048,043,024 on January 22, 2020. The preferred shares are convertible to common stock. The transaction is expected to close on March 13, 2020.
Hakudo Co., Ltd. is a company mainly engaged in the processing and sale of metal and plastic products. The Company operates in two business segments. The Japan segment purchases various products from material manufacturers and others, cuts and processes the standard stock products, and delivers to customers in a short delivery time. The China segment purchases products from the Company and material manufacturers, stocks in factories in Shanghai, cuts, processes and delivers to customers in China in a short delivery time. In Thailand, the Company also sells products stocked in external warehouses in Bangkok to local companies.
