Halma : named as one of Europe's climate leaders

Halma, the global group of life-saving technology companies, has been named by the Financial Times and Statista as one of Europe's Climate Leaders. Their rankings are based on detailed research focusing on around 4,000 companies across Europe. The list was published in the Financial Times on 18 May 2021 and highlights our commitment to greenhouse gas reductions.

Commenting on the award, Halma's Group Chief Financial Officer, Marc Ronchetti, said:
'We take our environmental responsibility seriously - it's embedded in our purpose, which is to grow a safer, cleaner, healthier future for everyone every day. Our purpose drives every business decision we make, it ensures everyone who works with us is focused on doing those things that make it happen. For more than a decade we have been committed to reducing our greenhouse gas emissions intensity. Since 2010 we have set and delivered on our targets to reduce our total carbon emissions relative to revenues. We are going further by introducing a science-based target for our Scope 1 and 2 emissions this year, in line with a 1.5 degree trajectory'.
