Hang Seng Celebrates HK Table Tennis Team's

Outstanding Olympic Performance with HK$3.2 million Prize

Hang Seng Bank is celebrating with other Hong Kongers on the Hong Kong Women's Table Tennis team clinching the Bronze Medal at the Tokyo Olympics in the exciting play-off match against Germany, making history for Hong Kong.

The achievement of the women's team is particularly meaningful for Hang Seng, which has been supporting the development of table tennis in Hong Kong for 30 years to nurture home-grownworld-class talent. All players and coaches deserve recognition for their hard work and commitment in preparing for the Games. As a token of its appreciation, the Bank today announced that it will offer a HK$3.2 million cash prize to be shared by all the Olympic table tennis team members.

Hang Seng is especially delighted that five of the six core players of Hong Kong Table Tennis Team at the Tokyo Olympics are alumni of the Hang Seng Table Tennis Academy, including the three female bronze medalists Doo Hoi Kem, Lee Ho Ching and Soo Wai Yam, as well as male players Wong Chung-ting and Lam Siu-hang.
