ANNOUNCEMENT

This announcement is made by Hang Yick Holdings Company Limited (the ''Company'', together with its subsidiaries, the ''Group'') pursuant to Rule 13.09 of the Rules (the ''Listing Rules'') Governing the Listing of Securities on The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited (the ''Stock Exchange'') and the Inside Information Provisions (as defined in the Listing Rules) under Part XIVA of the Securities and Futures Ordinance (Chapter 571, Laws of Hong Kong) (''SFO'').

The board (''Board'') of directors (the ''Directors'') of the Company would like to announce that on 22 April 2021, an enforcement authority attended the office premises of the Group in Hong Kong with search warrants relating to an investigation (the ''Investigation'').

Save as disclosed above, the Board confirms that there is no other inside information that needs to be disclosed under Part XIVA of the SFO as at the date of this announcement. The Company will fully cooperate with the regulators and will issue further announcements as permitted under the relevant regulations as and when appropriate.

At the request of the Company, trading in the shares of the Company on the Stock Exchange has been halted with effect from 9 : 00 a.m. on 22 April 2021 and shall remain halted pending further announcement, as the Company needs some time to understand the Investigation and to assess if there is any impact on the business and operation of the Group.
