AUSTIN, Texas (AP) _ Hanger Inc. (HNGR) on Wednesday reported a loss of $3.3 million in its first quarter.

On a per-share basis, the Austin, Texas-based company said it had a loss of 9 cents. Losses, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, came to 8 cents per share.

The orthotic and prosthetic company posted revenue of $237.5 million in the period.

Hanger expects full-year revenue in the range of $1.15 billion to $1.18 billion.

Hanger shares have risen 16% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Wednesday, shares hit $25.57, a climb of 49% in the last 12 months.
