September 30, 2022 - Hikvision announced a collaboration with Prysm Software to integrate its HikCentral Professional (HCP) with Prysm Software's AppVision™ PSIM platform. This integration creates a seamless and unified digital tool for users to manage their security infrastructure either through AppVision™ or HCP.
Hikvision's HikCentral Professional (HCP) is a security management software that supports integration with video security devices, alarm and access control systems, and third-party systems through its OpenAPI protocols. Prysm Software's AppVision™ is also a convergent platform that supports centralized management of various security systems.
The integration enables AppVision™ users to manage all HCP-connected security components, such as cameras, recording systems, and alarm units, through a single centralized interface, which provide real-time situational awareness, instantaneous alarm reaction, and incident management. HCP users can also receive AppVision™ data and manage its integrated third-party systems. For example, through adding the AppVision™ client web pages into the HCP desktop client, HCP users can receive alarms from a variety of alarm system brands integrated with AppVision™.

The latest integration with HikCentral Professional enables users to unify Hikvision security systems with our PSIM AppVision™ for seamless access to information and easier management," said David Fiorina, Business Development Director at Prysm Software.
"Now part of the Hikvision Technology Partner Program, Prysm has supported a large range of Hikvision products and solutions, such as NVRs, HikCentral Professional and TandemVu cameras and metadata that are deployed together with AppVision™ in multiple vertical markets around the globe. We believe these integrations create truly unified systems for users to maximize their real-time operational management," added Liam Heatley, Global Technology Partner Alliance Manager at Hikvision.
