HANMI Semiconductor opened 'N K Kwak Hall' on the 29th, which is a production line exclusively for EMI shield equipment (5G communication chip).

It was built to commemorate the 40th anniversary of HANMI Semiconductor with its founder Kwak No-kwon.

As a result, HANMI Semiconductor has established a production line for 40,661 square meters of semiconductor equipment along with its existing lines.

Vice Chairman Kwak Dong- shin explained, 'It is a company that has a high proportion of sales in overseas markets where demand for non-memory semiconductor equipment is high, and the proportion of exports to sales exceeded 77% on average for 10 years from 2010 to 2019.'

'With the full-scale EMI shield process applied to semiconductor chips, Hanmi Semiconductor's EMI shield equipment has achieved the world's largest market share in four years since its launch,' he said.

HANMI Semiconductor is estimating that it will receive orders worth $120 billion (120 billion KRW) just from EMI shield equipment this year.
