Hanon Systems reported earnings results for the second quarter and six months ended June 30, 2022. For the second quarter, the company reported sales was KRW 9,465.95 million compared to KRW 4,687.1 million a year ago. Net income was KRW 13,961.47 million compared to KRW 96,717.06 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was KRW 26 compared to KRW 181 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was KRW 26 compared to KRW 181 a year ago. Basic earnings per share was KRW 26 compared to KRW 181 a year ago.
For the six months, sales was KRW 17,703.26 million compared to KRW 7,897.71 million a year ago. Net income was KRW 33,672.8 million compared to KRW 155,570.49 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was KRW 63 compared to KRW 291 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was KRW 63 compared to KRW 291 a year ago. Hanon Systems, formerly Halla Visteon Climate Control Corp, is a Korea-based company mainly engaged in the manufacturing and sale of automotive thermal management systems and automotive parts. The Company is principally involved in the production and sale of heating ventilation air conditioning (HVAC) systems, power train cooling (PTC) systems, compressors, fluid transport (FT) systems, battery heat management systems, heat pump systems, high voltage cooling fan motors, radiators, condensers and others used in automobiles.
