DRUG REGISTRATION APPROVAL OF
"EMPAGLIFLOZIN TABLETS"
The board of directors (the "Board") of Hansoh Pharmaceutical Group Company Limited (the "Company" and together with its subsidiaries, the "Group") is pleased to announce that
"Empagliflozin Tablets" (the "Product"), developed by Jiangsu Hansoh Pharmaceutical Group Co., Ltd. (江蘇豪森藥業集團有限公司), a subsidiary of the Company, has been granted drug
registration approval by the National Medical Products Administration of the People's Republic of China.
The Product is a sodium-glucoseco-transporter 2 (SGLT2) inhibitor indicated as an adjunct to diet and exercise to improve glycemic control in adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus. The obtaining of drug registration approval of the Product will further enrich and improve the diabetes pipeline of the Group.
