Harel Insurance Investments and Financial Services reported earnings results for the second quarter and first half of 2017. For the quarter, total earned premiums and benefit contributions were 14% up at ILS 5.7 billion, compared with ILS 5 billion in the corresponding period last year. Comprehensive profit was ILS 184 million, compared with ILS 28 million in the corresponding quarter last year. For the first half, total earned premiums and benefit contributions were 14% up at ILS 11.1 billion, compared with ILS 9.7 billion in the corresponding period last year. Comprehensive profit was ILS 437 million, compared with ILS 42 million in the corresponding period last year. Equity attributed to the company's shareholders was ILS 5.3 billion at June 30, 2017.
