Asahi Kasei Homes Corp. agree to acquire 30.3% stake in Mori-Gumi Co. Ltd. (TSE:1853) from HASEKO Corporation (TSE:1808) and Hankyu Corporation on May 13, 2016.
Under the terms of the agreement, Asahi Kasei acquires 9.91 million shares which represents 30.3% stake in Mori-Gumi. Hankyu will own 0% stake and HASEKO will own 8% stake in Mori-Gumi post acquisition.
