HCL Technologies Ltd.'s net profit rose 2.4% in its fiscal first quarter, mainly owing to robust revenue growth at the IT and business services segment and the engineering and research and development services segment.

The Indian IT services and consulting company said late Tuesday that net profit was 32.83 billion rupees ($413.1 million) for the three months ended June 30, up from net profit of INR32.05 billion for the same period a year earlier. Total income rose to INR238.73 billion from INR203.23 billion a year ago.

HCL Technologies said it expects fiscal 2023 revenue to grow between 12% and 14% in constant currency terms and its Ebit margin to be between 18% and 20%.
