HD Korea Shipbuilding & Offshore Engineering, formerly Korea Shipbuilding & Offshore Engineering Co Ltd, is a Korea-based company engaged in the shipbuilding industry. The Company operates its business through five segments. The Shipbuilding segment is engaged in the building of drillships, crude oil carriers, containerships and refined petroleum product carriers. The Green Energy segment is engaged in the manufacture and sale of products such as solar modules and control systems. The Offshore Plant segment is engaged in the manufacture and installation of offshore structures, and also engaged in the manufacture and sale of floating crude oil production facilities, and chemical processing facilities. The Engine Machinery segment is engaged in the manufacture and sale of products such as marine engines and diesel power generation facilities. The Other segment is engaged in future technology research and development.
