BENGALURU/MUMBAI (Reuters) - India's HDFC Bank on Wednesday reported third-quarter profit in-line with analysts' estimates, as core lending income rose.

The country's biggest private lender posted a standalone net profit of 167.36 billion rupees ($1.94 billion) for the quarter ended Dec. 31.

Analysts, on average, expected a profit of 167.48 billion rupees, according to data compiled by LSEG.
