Citigroup Global Markets Ltd. said Thursday that it has sold 23.1 million shares in Africa-focused telecommunication-infrastructure company Helios Towers PLC on behalf of Network i2i Ltd., a subsidiary of Bharti Airtel Ltd., at 160 pence each.

The shares represent 2.3% of Helios' issued share capital and comprise the entire shareholding of Network i2i.

The sale price is a 11% discount to Helios's closing share price of 180 pence on Wednesday. Helios floated on the London Stock Exchange last October at 115 pence a share.

Last week, Millicom Holding BV and International Finance Corp. sold a combined 4% stake Helios Towers leaving them with shareholdings of 12.85% and 2.76% respectively.
