CORAL GABLES, Fla. (AP) _ Hemisphere Media Group Inc. (HMTV) on Monday reported a loss of $6.7 million in its second quarter.

The Coral Gables, Florida-based company said it had a loss of 17 cents per share.

The cable and television broadcaster posted revenue of $34.7 million in the period.

Hemisphere Media shares have declined 40% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Monday, shares hit $8.91, a decline of 27% in the last 12 months.
