H&M Group named one of the World's Most Sustainable Corporations

H&M Group has been recognized by Corporate Knight's Global 100 as being one of the world's most sustainable companies.

H&M Group is thrilled to be included in Corporate Knights' annual ranking of the world's most sustainable corporations. Announced at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, The Global 100 is an annual initiative conceived by Corporate Knights, ranking corporate sustainability performance in publicly listed companies with revenues over $1Billion.

We are delighted to come in at 27th spot joining a host of other impressive organizations recognized for being at the forefront of tackling the biggest issues facing our planet. At H&M Group, sustainability is at the core of everything we do and central to our mission of becoming fully circular and climate positive while being a fair and equal company.

Commenting on the annual ranking, Toby Heaps, CEO of Corporate Knights said: 'The Global 100 companies show that companies that put sustainability at their core outlast and outperform the competition.'

Over 7000 companies from all territories and industries were rigorously assessed based on up to 21 KPIs covering resource management, employee management, financial management, clean revenue and supplier performance. Forty-nine of this year's Global 100 companies came from Europe, 29 from the U.S. and Canada, 18 from Asia, 3 from Latin America and one from Africa.
