Hikal Limited announced unaudited standalone earnings results for the second quarter and six months ended September 30, 2017. For the quarter, the company reported total revenue was INR 2,926.6 million compared with INR 2,386.8 million for the same period a year ago. Profit from ordinary activities before tax and exceptional items was INR 196.5 million compared with INR 195.7 million for the same period a year ago. Profit before tax was INR 196.5 million compared with INR 195.7 million for the same period a year ago. Profit was INR 153.3 million or INR 1.85 per basic and diluted share compared with INR 163.2 million or INR 1.97 per basic and diluted share for the same period a year ago. EBITDA was INR 1,030 million compared with 910 million a year ago. Cash profit was INR 370 million compared with INR 470 million a year ago.
For the six months, the company reported total revenue was INR 5,609.4 million compared with INR 4,655.7 million for the same period a year ago. Profit from ordinary activities before tax and exceptional items was INR 379.5 million compared with INR 331.2 million for the same period a year ago. Profit before tax was INR 379.5 million compared with INR 331.2 million for the same period a year ago. Profit was INR 286.5 million or INR 3.46 per basic and diluted share compared with INR 278.6 million or INR 3.36 per basic and diluted share for the same period a year ago. EBITDA was INR 540 million compared with 470 million a year ago. Cash profit was INR 710 million compared with INR 630 million a year ago.
