MCLEAN, Va. - As the hospitality industry emerges from one of the most challenging times in its history and the world returns to travel, Hilton has once again been recognized for its outstanding - and resilient - workplace culture. Great Place to Work (GPTW) and Fortune named Hilton #2 on the 2022 Best Companies to Work For list in the U.S. As in previous years, Hilton is the highest ranked hospitality company to appear on the list.

"We're incredibly honored to be recognized as a Great Place to Work for the seventh year in a row. I'm so proud of our team members and everything they've done to share the light and warmth of hospitality with our guests, especially over the last two years," said Chris Nassetta, president and CEO, Hilton. "This recognition is a testament to what we've built together at Hilton - a culture that's welcoming, supportive and showcases the transformative impact our hospitality has with our guests, owners, communities and each other."

Following two incredibly challenging years, Hilton has used this moment as a chance to emerge stronger and to continue building a culture that recognizes team members as individuals with unique needs and goals.

Hilton's goal is to build a culture that supports team members at every step of their personal and professional journeys. The hospitality company provides best-in-class benefits to both hourly and salaried team members, including expanded parental leave, adoption assistance and extended bereavement leave. In 2021, Hilton also launched a new campaign to increase support for team members' mental wellness, focused on creating dialogue around the topic of mental health, providing team members with new tools and resources, and leaning on Hilton's established culture of well-being.

Access to lifelong learning is also a key pillar of Hilton's benefit offerings. Earlier this year in a first for the hospitality industry, Hilton announced a new partnership with Guild Education to provide a new continuing education benefit that will enable team members earn a vast new variety of educational credentials at no cost to them.

Hilton has also made great strides in diversity, equity and inclusion and remains committed to increasing gender and ethnic diversity in leadership roles. The hospitality leader has dedicated goals to achieve global gender parity and 25 percent ethnic diversity at a corporate leadership level in the U.S. by 2027. Additionally, it was ranked #1 on DiversityInc's 2021 Top 50 Companies for Diversity list.

With a workforce spanning nearly 365,000 people across 122 countries and territories, this recognition is a result of positive feedback direct from team members. Hilton is honored to have been named a Best Workplace for Women in the U.S. Recently, the company was also named the top place to work in in Brazil (#3), China (#1), Colombia (#5), Peru (#1), Argentina (#3), Belgium (#3), Uruguay (#1), the Philippines (#3), Ireland (#1), Saudi Arabia (#3), Qatar (#8), UAE (#4), Turkey (#1), Sweden (#15), Italy (#8), Portugal (#3), France (#2), Spain (#6), and Germany (#10).
