Hindustan Zinc Limited Announces Production Results for the Fourth Quarter and Full Year Ended March 31, 2018; Provides Production Guidance for 2020

Hindustan Zinc Limited announced production results for the fourth quarter and full year ended March 31, 2018. For the quarter, the company reported mined metal production at 254,800 tonnes against 312,300 tonnes a year ago. Refined zinc total was 206,100 tonnes against 214,500 tonnes a year ago. Refined lead total was 49,800 tonnes against 45,000 tonnes a year ago. Silver total was 170,000 tonnes against 139,000 tonnes a year ago.
For the year, the company reported mined metal production at 947,400 tonnes against 907,000 tonnes a year ago. Refined zinc total was 791,500 tonnes against 670,100 tonnes a year ago. Refined lead total was 168,200 tonnes against 139,000 tonnes a year ago. Silver total was 557,500 tonnes against 452,500 tonnes a year ago.
The ramp up of mined metal production to 1.2 million MT by 2020 is on track.
