Hino Motors Ltd. said Thursday that it will sell diesel trucks made by Isuzu Motors Ltd. at Hino dealers in the U.S. and Canada starting in October.

Hino, the truck-making unit of Toyota Motor Corp., said the supply agreement will have a minor impact on its earnings for the fiscal year ending March 2022.

Hino had said in December that it would suspend production of vehicles at two North America plants, citing issues in the U.S. engine certification testing process. Hino had said at the time that it planned to resume production at the two plants in October 2021.
