HireQuest, Inc. (NasdaqCM:HQI) entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Dental Power Staffing Division of Dental Power International, Inc. for $1.5 million on November 3, 2021. The division generated $3.5 million in revenue for the last twelve months ended September 30, 2021. Jamie Understein will continue as a consultant to HireQuest. HireQuest will fund this acquisition with existing cash on hand and a modest draw on its existing line of credit. Completion of the transaction is subject to a number of closing conditions. Subject to such conditions, the transaction is expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2021.

HireQuest Direct focuses on daily work/daily-pay jobs primarily for construction and light industrial customers. Snelling and HireQuest focus on longer-term staffing positions in the light industrial and administrative arenas.
