Moderator: Welcome everyone to the financial results briefing of HIROSE ELECTRIC.

Thank you very much for joining us today. I want to welcome Mr. Kamagata, Corporate Board Director and Group President of the Administration Group. My name is Suzaki with IR Office, and I'm facilitating the call today. Please note that this meeting is held online.

First, let me begin with the agenda. I expect that the presentation material is displayed on the screen you're using to participate in today's call. A PDF copy of the presentation deck is available for download. Please also note that, yesterday, we published the latest financial report to the Tokyo Stock Exchange. Please feel free to access the HIROSE ELECTRIC website, IR page, to find those reports and other resources as you like. During the presentation today the speaker will make a note on the page number. At this time, I would also like to follow up on the question‐and‐answer protocol. The question‐and‐answer session is interactive, with participants speaking on the phone line, and we will respond to questions. As for today's proceedings, Mr. Kamagata, Group President of the Administration Group, will first share a few words, followed by a review of Q1 of the fiscal year ending March 31, 2023. We will take your questions in the remaining time. This meeting is scheduled to adjourn by 11:30 AM.

Let me begin with the prepared remarks by Mr. Kamagata, Group President of the Administration Group.

Kamagata: My name is Kamagata from HIROSE ELECTRIC. Thank you for joining us today. Thank you all for taking time out of your busy schedules to attend this information session. The purpose of today's call is to share the financial results of Q1.

Now, I would like to turn the call over to Mr. Suzaki with the IR Office, for the details. Thank you.

Suzaki: At this time, please follow the presentation deck as I provide the review.

First, please turn to page three. This is a summary of business performance. In Q1 of FY2022, sales and operating profit both reached record highs due to growth in industrial machinery, consumer, and automotive applications sectors.

Orders received totaled JPY48.82 billion, down from last year's peak, but still at a high level.

Please continue to page four. The graph shows quarterly sales and operating profit. Operating profit for Q1 of FY2022 was up 27.9% over the previous year.
