HKE Holdings Limited provided consolidated earnings guidance for the six months ended December 31, 2020. For the six months, the board preliminarily estimates that the group will record a decrease in its consolidated net profit of about 95% to approximately SGD 0.03 million from approximately SGD 0.66 million for the six months ended December 31, 2019. The decrease was mainly due to the circuit breaker measures being imposed by the Singapore Government from 7 April 2020 to 1 June 2020 to combat the local transmission of novel coronavirus in Singapore. Although the Group was able to recommence most of the company's projects immediately after the Circuit Breaker Period, the additional running costs incurred after the Circuit Breaker Period have reduced the overall profit margin of the company's projects.
