Ms. Tran Hai Linh (in black) enthusiastically guided the locals to the designated areas where they would receive their gifts.
"What really moved us was witnessing the severe hardships the people in these areas were enduring. Many families had lost everything - some had lost both their loved ones and their homes, and were unable to work or rebuild their lives. When we arrived with the gifts, the warmth and gratitude they expressed were overwhelming. They welcomed us with heartfelt hugs, handshakes, and wishes for good health, despite the language barrier. It was a truly unforgettable experience. I hope the Group's leadership will organize more charity programs so that we can continue to participate and make a difference," Ms. Linh shared.

Witnessing the struggles of the people, such as homes still covered with tarpaulins to shield from the rain and sun, or families living in temporary shelters while waiting for new homes to be built, we gained a deeper understanding and empathy for what our fellow countrymen have endured. One person expressed their gratitude, saying, "Receiving gifts from Hoa Phat brings us great happiness because it will help us buy materials like corrugated iron, roofing sheets, and cement to repair the damage to our homes." Seeing the joy on their faces, the Hoa Phat volunteers also felt a profound sense of warmth.
"This is my first time participating in volunteer activities with the Group, and it has been a heartwarming experience to be part of this mission," shared Mr. Le Minh Dung. "Our trip focused on helping the people in the highlands recover from the storm and floods, and it opened my eyes to the many challenges and shortages they still face. I believe sharing these experiences will help others better understand the conditions of people living in the highlands of Cao Bang province. Through this journey, I have gained a deeper appreciation for the social charity initiatives that Hoa Phat Group is committed to, and the support it provides to improve people's livelihoods."
