1. Market segment development in Q3

  • The relaxations in travel restrictions led to a strong increase in booking demand and travel activity in Q3, despite the spread of the delta variant.
  • Demand for both package tours and hotels grew significantly in Q3, even compared to 2019 levels.

1. Development of HolidayCheck Group

  • After a weak Q1 demand for holiday travels recovered in Q2 and Q3 with most departures from June to October 2021.
  • Continued cost discipline and targeted marketing enables us to both serve market demand and manage the bottom line - at a pleasantly profitable level in Q3.
  • Revenue 2021 shows only departed trips until 30 September 2021, therefore more concentrated revenue in Q3 2021 compared to Q3 2020.
  • bookings of approx. EUR 85 million total transaction value (TTV) with departures in Q4 and of approx. EUR 40 million TTV with departures in 2022 in our systems.
