--Honda Motor Co. aims to sell 800,000 electric vehicles in China in 2030, up from 10,000 units in 2021, Japanese business daily Nikkei reported Friday, citing an interview with Honda's China head of operations, Katsushi Inoue.

--Honda hopes to sell 2 million cars in China in 2030, and electric vehicles would make up 40% of the total, while the other 60% would be hybrid vehicles, the Nikkei report said.
