Honda Motor Co., Ltd. today announced a summary of automobile production, Japan domestic sales, and export results for the month of October 2021.

• Total Japanese sales experienced a year-on-year decrease for the fifth consecutive month.
• New vehicle registrations experienced a year-on-year decreasefor the second consecutive month.
• Sales of mini-vehicles experienced a year-on-year decrease for the third consecutive month.
• VEZEL was the industry's fifth best-selling car among new vehicle registrations for the month of October 2021 with sales of 6,826 units. Freed was the industry's sixth best-selling car among new vehicle registrations for the month of October 2021 with sales of 6,237 units. Fit was the industry's eighth best-selling car among new vehicle registrations for the month of October 2021 with sales of 5,403 units.
• N-BOX was the industry's third best-selling car in the mini-vehicle category for the month of October 2021 with sales of 7,442 units. N-WGN was the industry's tenth best-selling car in the mini-vehicle category for the month of October 2021 with sales of 4,396 units.
