Transmission Module which meets the Latest Qi Standards in Wireless Charging System has been developed
Hosiden has developed a transmission module (Tx Module) which meets the Latest Qi Standards established by Wireless Power Consortium (WPC) with regard to Wireless Charging System.
Its simple structure of 12V input/single coil looks for downsizing and price reduction. It is scheduled to get certified to Qi Standards by the end of March this year. We are targeting to supply this to wireless chargers for portable devices, which are expected to become more and more popular.
Typical Features
Compliant with Qi Standard; Low Power ver.1.1.2 and high compatibility has been secured.
Price reduction has been achieved by the 12V input/single coil.
The compact module substrate area of 60(W) x 60(D) mm, which has been made feasible by taking advantage of a single coil.
Protection against noise (Unnecessary frequency components (noises) other than the transmission frequency have been eliminated.)
Typical Application
Mobile devices compliant with Qi standards, like smart phones, portable music players, and digital cameras
