Hota Industrial Mfg. Co., Ltd. announced earnings results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2020. For the second quarter, the company announced sales was TWD 777.656 million compared to TWD 1,505.289 million a year ago. Operating loss was TWD 9.557 million compared to operating Income of TWD 201.661 million a year ago. Net loss was TWD 23.201 million compared to net income of TWD 189.931 million a year ago. Basic loss per share was TWD 0.09 compared to basic earnings per share of TWD 0.75 a year ago. For the half year, sales was TWD 2,188.311 million compared to TWD 2,985.208 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 153.150 million compared to TWD 426.109 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 120.503 million compared to TWD 382.307 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 0.47 compared to TWD 1.5 a year ago.

The Companyâs primary products include gears and axles for motorcycles, gear shafts, gearbox parts, differentials and torque transfer systems for heavy duty trucks, slowdown parts, planetary gear sets for auto gearboxes, gears and axles for heavy locomotives, gears and axles for oil pumps, as well as gearbox parts for electric cars.
