Hota Industrial Mfg. Co., Ltd. announced earnings results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2021. For the second quarter, the company announced sales was TWD 1,676.251 million compared to TWD 777.656 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 156.015 million compared to operating loss of TWD 9.557 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 88.771 million compared to net loss of TWD 23.201 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 0.32 compared to basic loss per share of TWD 0.09 a year ago.
For the half year, sales was TWD 3,248.924 million compared to TWD 2,188.311 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 244.711 million compared to TWD 153.150 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 143.612 million compared to TWD 120.503 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 0.52 compared to TWD 0.47 a year ago.
Hota Industrial Mfg. Co Ltd is a Taiwan-based company principally engaged in the manufacture and sale of gears and axles for automobiles and motorcycles. The Companyâs primary products include gears and axles for motorcycles, gear shafts, gearbox parts, differentials and torque transfer systems for heavy duty trucks, slowdown parts, planetary gear sets for auto gearboxes, gears and axles for heavy locomotives, gears and axles for oil pumps, as well as gearbox parts for electric cars.
