HSBC Holdings plc Approves Second Interim Dividend in Respect of the Financial Year Ending 31 December 2024, Payable on 27 September 2024

On 31 July 2024, the Directors of HSBC Holdings plc approved a second interim dividend for 2024 of $0.10 per ordinary share in respect of the financial year ending 31 December 2024. This distribution amounts to approximately $1.849 billion and will be payable on 27 September 2024 to holders of record on the Principal Register in the UK, the Hong Kong Overseas Branch Register or the Bermuda Overseas Branch Register on 16 August 2024. The dividend will be payable in US dollars, or in pounds sterling or Hong Kong dollars at the forward exchange rates quoted by HSBC Bank plc in London at or about 16 September 2024.

The ordinary shares in London, Hong Kong and Bermuda will be quoted ex-dividend on 15 August 2024. American Depositary Shares ('ADSs') in New York will be quoted ex-dividend on 16 August 2024.
