Huangshan Tourism Development Co., Ltd. announced earnings results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2021. For the first quarter, the company announced sales was CNY 147.090 million compared to CNY 69.792 million a year ago. Operating loss was CNY 30.579 million compared to CNY 79.324 million a year ago. Net loss was CNY 31.909 million compared to CNY 77.241 million a year ago. Basic loss per share from continuing operations was CNY 0.0437 compared to CNY 0.1059 a year ago.
Huangshan Tourism Development Co.,Ltd. mainly operates through four segments, including Scenic Area Management, Cableway Operation, Hotel Business and Travel Agency. Scenic Area Management segment is engaged in the daily operation and management, infrastructure construction, environment sanitation and cleaning, sewage treatment and other services in Huangshan scenic zone, Anhui province, China and in HuaShan Mysterious Grottoes, Zhejiang province, China. Cableway Operation segment consists of the safety management, equipment maintenance and services of the cableways in Huangshan. Hotel Business segment is involved in the operation and management of the hotels that the Company owns. Travel Agency segment provides domestic tourism, inbound tourism, outbound tourism, air ticketing, exhibition services, advertising planning and other services. The Company also involves in the development and distribution of commercial residential properties.
