Huangshan Tourism Development Co., Ltd. announced earnings results for the half year ended June 30, 2021. For the half year, the company announced sales was CNY 460.752 million compared to CNY 200.095 million a year ago. Operating income was CNY 42.678 million compared to operating loss of CNY 78.414 million a year ago. Net income was CNY 34.500 million compared to net loss of CNY 88.424 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was CNY 0.0473 compared to basic loss per share from continuing operations of CNY 0.1212 a year ago.
Huangshan Tourism Development Co.,Ltd. mainly operates through four segments, including Scenic Area Management, Cableway Operation, Hotel Business and Travel Agency. Scenic Area Management segment is engaged in the daily operation and management, infrastructure construction, environment sanitation and cleaning, sewage treatment and other services in Huangshan scenic zone, Anhui province, China and in HuaShan Mysterious Grottoes, Zhejiang province, China. Cableway Operation segment consists of the safety management, equipment maintenance and services of the cableways in Huangshan. Hotel Business segment is involved in the operation and management of the hotels that the Company owns. Travel Agency segment provides domestic tourism, inbound tourism, outbound tourism, air ticketing, exhibition services, advertising planning and other services. The Company also involves in the development and distribution of commercial residential properties.
