BRUSSELS, Jan 13 (Reuters) - Hyundai on Thursday said EU antitrust regulators' veto of its proposed acquisition of rival shipbuilder Daewoo is unreasonable and disappointing and that it would pursue other possible measures including a court challenge.

Hyundai said there are other credible competitors in South Korea, China, Japan and Russia, and that the European Commission's focus on market shares may not be a good indicator of market power in the shipbuilding industry.
