NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) _ I3 Verticals, Inc. (IIIV) on Thursday reported a loss of $651,000 in its fiscal fourth quarter.

The Nashville, Tennessee-based company said it had a loss of 6 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, came to 20 cents per share.

The results beat Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of four analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 18 cents per share.

The company posted revenue of $38.3 million in the period. Its adjusted revenue was $38.4 million.

For the year, the company reported that its loss narrowed to $419,000, or 3 cents per share. Revenue was reported as $151 million.

I3 Verticals shares have declined 13% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Thursday, shares hit $24.60, a rise of nearly 8% in the last 12 months.
