Energy Infrastructure Partners AG entered into an agreement to acquire 49% stake in Wikinger offshore wind farm in Germany from Iberdrola, S.A. (BME:IBE) for a transaction value of approximately €700 million on September 14, 2022. Energy Infrastructure Partners raised €400m of loans from Goldman Sachs, Rabobank and SEB. Íñigo del Val, Nicolas Ascherfeld and Max Landshut of acted as Allen & Overy Spain acted as legal advisor to Iberdrola, S.A. PJT partners acted as financial advisor to Energy Infrastructure Partners AG.

J.P Morgan has acted as financial advisor to Iberdrola in the transaction.
