Icade : completes the acquisition of the Défense Parc Complex in Nanterre for €63m

ICADE COMPLETES THE ACQUISITION OF THE DÉFENSE PARC COMPLEX

IN NANTERRE FOR €63M

Pursuant to a preliminary agreement signed on October 21, Icade completed the acquisition of the Défense Parc complex in Nanterre Préfecture (Hauts-de-Seine) on December 19, 2022.

Comprising two buildings covering almost 20,000 sq.m, the property is located in the heart of the Terrasses de l'Arche district in Nanterre Préfecture, opposite an RER A station. It is fully leased to two first-class tenants, namely the French Ministry of the Interior and SCC France.

Right next to the RER A and future RER E Nanterre La Folie train stations and less than ten minutes from Paris CBD by public transport, the buildings offer a wide range of amenities, including a staff restaurant, a cafeteria and parking spaces with charging points for electric vehicles. In addition, one of the buildings will eventually have an auditorium on the ground floor.

This value-add asset acquired for €63m will remain fully leased in the coming years and has strong potential to create value over time when redeveloped. It is located in an area currently undergoing a major transformation, with many corporate headquarters being moved there, a new rail line being added, etc. The Office Property Investment Division also already has many other properties in this area.
