Free is coming to the Ardèche Drôme Numérique (ADN)

Public Initiative Network

Free is strengthening its presence on the Ardèche Drôme Numérique (ADN) Public Initiative Network ("PIN"), demonstrating its commitment to the rollout of fiber throughout France in line with its aim of having a presence on the Public Initiative Networks deployed by local communities.

In three months' time, Free will be present in the whole of the area currently covered by

the ADN public network, and all of the 23,000 homes concerned will be eligible for Free Fiber.

Marketing of fiber offers started on the network several months ago and now covers over 17,000 homes in some thirty municipalities, including Saint Etienne de Fontbellon, Sarras, Ucel, Saint Sernin in the Ardèche and Chatuzange le Goubet, Beausemblant, Saint Vallier, Beauvallon and Montéléger in the Drôme.

Free's Fiber offerings are already available to over 120,000 homes in the Ardèche and Drôme regions thanks to its presence on PINs, as well as in AMII areas in parts of Valence, Montélimar, Romans sur Isère and Annonay, and the municipalities of Privas and Guilherand Granges.

Free's presence on the ADN network further illustrates its objectives of offering fiber services throughout France and being able to propose a fiber plan to French consumers through the Freebox Pop (€29.99/month for 12 months and then €39.99/month).

Additionally, Free is the only operator in France to offer 10G-EPON fiber technology1 (subject to the subscriber having a compatible plan and Freebox).

As from today, people living in the Ardèche and Drôme regions can check their eligibility and subscribe for Free Fiber at www.free.fr, on 1033 (a freephone number dedicated to Free

Fiber), or in the Free Center in Valence.
